Brancaster

This beach is good for families and swimming, less tidal than holkham, with a little snack shop.

Cley-next-the-Sea

Pebbled beach with views to neighboring beaches, a popular choice with the marshes attracting lots of birdwatchers. You can swim here at any time as it shelves quite steeply so there is always plenty of water for swimming.

Holkham Beach

Opposite The Victoria Hotel, this beach takes your breath away, long sandy stretches with soft dunes and a pine wood. Perfect for long walks, or a lazy day lying in the sand dunes.

Wells-next-the-Sea

Great beach with less of a walk than Holkham, fun for paddling. There is a newly refurbished beach café too.

Cley Marshes Nature Reserve has an abundance of unusual and interesting birds. Board-walks create convenient viewing platforms and are great for meandering along for hours of birdwatching. Cromer Museum
